But then, reality kicked in as I began to feel the fangs filled with venom of a snake and the paralyzing bite of a spider manifest from the opposing Republican Party as they sink in and surround their prey. They must destroy this positive moment. America must not consider the possibility politicians have a heart. It would be detrimental to what politics represent. What is it that it represents? Remember, our children are watching and learning exactly what it is.

Based on commercials and the power packed tactics of past experiences, we learned politicians and the art of politics is a source that justifies attack, destroy, confuse, hate, judge, kill our threat to not win at any cost. We must program the people to become petrified or afraid either will do as long as we win. This is what the American people are tolerating right now. This is what our children of the future are learning to use to survive in America. Lastly, this is why we are a nation heading towards being alone in the world. No one wants to befriend anybody this desperate to win. If America is this desperate that we have to use evil to control our own people’s minds, for sure other nations would prefer to stay clear from us. I can’t blame them.

The thought in this country is power is control at any cost, lying, robbing, denying people rights and equality, corruption, negativity etc. And, weakness is found in good having a heart and concern for others, spirit, giving, listening, being honest, etc. If this is what our mind-set is stuck on, we can forget about hope for our future. A future founded on the negative principals is why we are falling as a nation. I ask you, how can a man lead this country well without a heart? The same way a child is raised with parents that are heartless, they become hardened-hearted people that do not have a conscious for others. They become predators like our leadership today taking from others with no concern for their well-being.

We do not need another heartless leadership that is disconnected to the human needs of others. We need a real person who has empathy not one who wins to keep innocent people struggling. Our children need positive role models that do not thrive on negativity to win. Drop your negative attacks so we can see you—just you.

Today I am talking to my innocent people, the givers of the world.  I want you to know a true predator does not have to be a monster.  In fact, the predators I want to talk about are the ones we prefer to not talk about—the Christian predator is putting on a collar and walking with the bible in his or her hand.  I recently met a man considered to be a reverend he had a possible streak of bad luck.  He found me on a website and admired my photo and my purpose in life.  In corresponding with him, he revealed to me God put it on his heart to ask me to join his ministry that what we could do together could help a lot of people.  I told him, I heard that before.  I did not sense God revealed this to him.  Later I learned he felt my empathy for victims could make his life a lot easier asking me for money because he was experiencing identity theft and all his means were cut off.  When I refused, I did not hear from him anymore.

He was a reverend with a nonprofit ministry that reached out to people needing a second a chance yet he had a heart and mind to prey upon a survivor of victimization.  He was not the first Christian man to be drawn to me by what they call my innocence and gentleness towards life that they wanted to usefor self-gain, there has been several supposedly Christian men who have attempted to take advantage of my kind nature saying so many women today are heartless and lack compassion.  Well, now I am really beginning to understand why this may be true.  Good people are considered weak and naïve’ even in the Christian community.  It is not just men that tend to prey on good natured people, women have proven to do the same as well. 

True people of God are the givers of life and subject to be preyed upon by predators.  We must know God has given us discernment and we must pray that it is sharp at all times.  Predators can pray, sing, preach, give you a loving hug etc., and be planning to take from you with no thought of your well-being.  The Bible identifies them as wolves in sheep clothing.  They are not afraid of God or losing.  Remember, anybody can become a minister, many are getting ordained right on line or by their friends and relatives.  Don’t let the title make you too relaxed. 

In all sectors of life we have our honest and sincere ministers and Christians but we can not ignore the fact we have enemies in the camp.  Always remember, a real predator already knows exactly what they want from you and how to get it.  One weakness a predator has is the word no and that is because it is not in their program so their true colors will surely show as they attack, create guilt or back out widely or graciously.  If it seems too good to be true, chances are it is just that. 

America, while you are listening to the final days of the republican and democratic candidates attack one another with negativity, remember one of them will become the leader of our country.  Will it be the one that did the most attacking and dirt digging or will it be the one who can have a constructive and positive affect on all levels of leadership from the school system to the workforce?  For sure we have seen leadership on multiple levels throughout the country give less and less respect to people.  Employers took away from their employees and dared them to question the deterioration of insurance and raises.  Anywhere we turn there is not accountability in leadership.  Authorities in the medical field have pretty much made healthcare a frightening experience when it comes to insurance or no insurance.  Churches collect billions of dollars a year while people are struggling to make ends meet.  You would have thought by now the church community would be strong enough to have a world within this world to protect their own people.  But no, it is because the spirit of greed has reached some in this leadership as well.

Who do we trust to do right by us?  Who have we trusted and been let down time and time again?  Do we have any power at all?  Are we going to finally come together and let a clean sweep go through this country to rebuild its foundation or are we going to continue to bow down to dictatorship and corruption?  The next president of this country is either going to punish us for not taking a stand or join in the struggle to bring justice to all.  Which one of these candidates appear to be human?  Who has a lot to lose trying to save this country? 

When you talk about leadership you are talking about shaping a conscious of people to head in a specific direction.  It is not about the political games that is being played for it is a form of subliminal persuasion to steer us away from what we need most and that is a leader with a heart for humanity.  I have one question:  What will our children’s history books say about the past leaders of our country of ten years?   It is time for a new and fresh leadership across the board.  If we don’t wake up, we will be comatose for a long time.  It is now or never.    

Before I tell you what I feel it is, I want you to think about a new born baby.  For sure he or she needs the hands of others to survive.  In fact, it has been said if a child is not held or touched,he or she could actually die.  We have to hold babies close to us to make them feel safe and secure.  Guess what?  Adults need the same thing to continue to grow and feel healthy and secure.

A person who has not been held or lovingly embraced by someone who really loves and care about them is a person who is less than he or she could be.  Not saying single people are not strong in their survival.  No doubt we are that.  We can survive and make the best of things with what we have.  We can provide f or others and still have a lot to give ourselves to survive.  But we can not embrace ourselves.  There is nothing like a sweet embrace from someone who downright loves you. 

So many people today are dying for a sweet embrace so much so they seek it from untrusting sources and at times abnormal sources.  Woman to woman embraces, man to man embraces usually come about due to giving up on the she and he embraces that made our species strong and able to develop into spiritual and loving beings. 

In fact. so many of the criminals locked behind bars are people who needed a sweet embrace.  Something about a loving embrace can calm the savage beast in us.  People who have become distant from others and won't allow anyone to embrace them do this because they are starving and fear weakness would result the moment the embrace is received.  So they create a thick wall ensuring the embrace does not take place.

Being that we are creatures of habit, our early beginnings of being loved, held, nurtured and held close does not die.  Our memory banks hold dear to those moments of being loved and secured in the hands of our mother and loved ones.  A child acting out after another sibling is born is begging to have his or her sweet embrace recaptured in their lives.  Many children are ignored as the family numbers increase.  What we end up with is children going out into the world going through withdrawal--a need to be embraced by someone who loves them dearly. 

Hugs are nice when we receive them.  To be embraced in a hug is the transferring of love from one person to another.  I know as a single woman, I take good care of my self but I cannot embrace my self and this alone lets me know we were not born to be alone.  Each person in the world was born to be embraced their whole lives but due to selfish priorities, lonely people walk the earth accepting they just may not be embraced or loved by anyone.

I personally embrace those who allow me because I know in doing so, healing can  take place in  their spirit and body.  We all have a sweet embrace to share.  Please do not let it go to waste.  Go away embrace your fellowman.  Just maybe, you may be their healer for this season.  With these words, I embrace you all.

For instance, the church made sure Bush was reelected with no concern for our wellbeing.  Our education system from elementary school to college is failing to fulfill its promises to give hope for a positive future because there are no jobs and in some cases no decent education for minorities of various races.  The government has not made it a priority that justice prevails in the judicial system and medical needs for its people are unjust as well.  Our presidents can treat this country like it is a huge video game for them to feed their ego in doing whatever he want with no repercussions.  Over all, we need to take a realistic look at our upcoming fate.  Are we going to jump on the opportunity for moral and spiritual renewal or are we going to continue to suffer accepting abuse?

Tonight, I just wanted to join you in spirit.  We have come such a long way being misunderstood and at times not accepted.  For many of us, we have to ask the question:  Who do we trust?  In asking that question, we only want to know how we get people to do the right thing to do right by us and let us be.  I asked a few friends and family members:  How do you get people to do the right thing?  Those who do right by others had no answers in getting people to do right.  They can only say their choices to do right are natural for them that anything else would be uncomfortable.  On the other hand, those who are self-centered and greedy told me they do what they have to do and usually at any price.  That included taking from others if necessary.  These people admitted the thoughts of guilt were always ignored because they did what they had to do.

This made me realize no matter how innocent a person is, there are people out there who simply do not have a conscious of other people’s right to be safe and free.  In my book LAST DAY OF VICTIMIZATION I reveal the reality of there always being a THEM and US.  By nature, some people are takers, selfish, deceiving and unjust.  I call them people born of the Cain seed.  Then there are those who are kind, considerate, trusting and giving.  They are those born of the Abel seed.  The Abel seed is out numbered by the Cain spirit by a huge margin.

In answering the question to whom do we trust, Christians will be the first to say trust no one but God.  This is indeed true but many who are quick to make this statement do not have this living in their hearts.  They will take from God’s people in a heartbeat to survive and enjoy their lives.  This is why trust is deteriorating from our lives.  People we should be able to trust have allowed their own needs to supersede doing right by others.  All Christians are not takers and deceivers; we do have some who allow God’s spirit to reign in their lives.  They are innocent people.

Tonight, I had to let innocent victims know there are so many of us who do not know how to exist in a world not trusting people, especially when by nature we should be able to trust.  This is vexation to the spirit.  See, we must remember something very important.  Anybody coming up against us and taking from us are not doing that.  They are coming up against God.  As long as we trust God, we can trust anybody that comes into our lives to either reveal the light of love and God or the reality of darkness.  No matter what people do, we can not be destroyed.  Our souls belong to God. 

My fellow victims know we are not victims in spirit in truth.  In fact we are so valuable to God; the self-centered evildoers seek to destroy us because by nature, they can’t know God.  That’s right the innocent people of the world are God’s people.  Whether it is acknowledged or not, this is a truth that can’t be denied.  Rest at night knowing you more than a victim, you are chosen by God.  Jesus was the greatest victim that ever lived.  Whose child was he?

As I look back over my life I am reminded of how much people loved one another.  Girls and boys could be the best of friends without having sex.  I am not ruling out the activity of sex during that time but it did not rule over the heart as it does today.

We are finding more and more sexual activity is taking place among our youths at a younger and younger age.  Also with this growing number, we find sexual activity multiplying among the same sexual preferences.  With that, we also see an outrage of infidelity.  What is all of this telling us?  Very simple, we are not developing our total selves.  The physical self is ruling and it is doing so with no conscious of morality.  No one wants to admit the human race has lost touch with its purpose to exist.  When you have no program, heathen tendencies rule our conscious.  We were created to love one another unconditionally.

Why sex?  I had to ask myself this question knowing I too have in my lifetime experienced revealing my nakedness to a man for the first time knowing just maybe I should not do this.  But I completed the mission with no thought of the risks.  Why?  Because in that moment I and so many other people allow the adrenalin rush to bond with another human overtake our logic.  It is just that simple.  We dive in hoping for something magical, special, bonding and at times proof that love is possible.  The very act itself promises no bed of roses only hope that maybe just maybe we are special to someone or we just downright need to feel something, something we do not experience outside of this experience.

What we are seeking is a conscious connection to someone.  We need love a love that makes us feel alive and appreciated.  When we surrender to this quickening, we are escaping the alienated world we exist in.  Love is so rare and seldom felt that we lose touch with the sensations that make it special between two people.  It is easier to search for each other under the sheets instead of above water face to face.  The natural tendencies to feel the needs and desires of one another have been savored due to selfishness and self seeking to survive in a world that hates love.

Sex without the spirit of love is void.  People keep indulging in the act like a crack head looking to recapture the first euphoric moment of ecstasy.  They roam from partner to partner hoping for a fulfillment that only God can fill.  You see God is love and love is God.  It is a far more than an orgasmic experience.  The orgasmic experience only reveals a false and temporal fulfillment in comparison to experiencing the reality of God.  Whether we acknowledge God or not, human nature will seek gratification because there is something in them that desires its Creator, because God put that desire there at birth.  You may think you need a sexual fix.  It is not that, it is God calling you to experience His reality.

Lonely people sleep together every night.  They have sex and experience an unfulfilled that not even they understand.  At times they will creep on their partner thinking he or she is not delivering when in reality no human can deliver fulfillment but God.  Without God, a destructive force rules our sexual indulgence.  This is why diseases and unwanted children are spreading like wild fire.  All the outcomes are evidence of a lack of love.  We are moving too fast to see.  This is how the world controls our choices.  The first step in saving ourselves is to be still and know we belong to God.  WITHOUT LOVE, SEX IS JUST FALSE HOPE FOR IT.  Yes, we are a world of love starved people.

I don’t know because we still struggle as African Americans to be safe and created equal in America.  But if this is not the case, then why have white America allowed Obama to arrive to where he stands today?  Is it a hidden agenda?  Will it be proved that racism has found more sophisticated ways to express itself behind the scenes and it is just waiting for the moment when it will show its ugly head or have we actually evolved into less prejudice beings?

We’ve seen some racial evidence surface but we counteract them properly not allowing them to destroy our hope of establishing a nation tired of corruption.  I am so touched by the people of America today.  They are fighting for change.  When I see a white man trusting Obama I am mesmerized.  Their dedication and commitment to seeing him lead us to a better place is overwhelming to me.  I have witnessed it more times than I ever imagined.  As an African American female in America, I know both sides of the fence of the white Americans being for and against us.  I must say it is a two-edged sword America is facing now.

The world is watching us with a magnifying glass.  It knows our tendencies to self-destruct.  The world is waiting to see if racism will do its evil thing as we seek salvation from corruption.  The outsiders are watching us to see if good will prevail thinking it will not because America has gotten its priorities out of place.  We have to save ourselves from greedy and corrupted leaderships.  If we don’t, the outsiders will close in on us and racism will be invalid from then on end. 

Obama is taking on a task of assisting the victimized people of America recover from corruption.  John McCain as far as I see is only playing the old political game of controlling people’s lives with no concern for individuals struggling to have a secure life.  If we don’t get involve and let it be known that America is not going to take it anymore, we’re going to fight to save our future because our children need hope, then we are wasting our time working everyday.  America, it is not just sweet words Obama is speaking.  He is revealing our serious need to see and do things differently.  This man is risking his and his family’s life to pave a way to saving America from dictatorship.  Time and time again, he reminds us we have to work together to save America.

Yesterday while I was having dinner with my son, Marcus we found it interesting that we both have learned our feelings are not equated in our identity when we are involved in relationships.  We found it to be a dilemma to how someone can say he or she loves us and find no interest in our feelings especially those that make us happy.  I wondered when someone says he or she loves you; do you really understand what is being said?

Someone shared with me their lack of not understanding why a woman he is willing to provide for along with her illegitimate child would find it an inconvenience to not go to the store and buy him some socks knowing he needed them.  Then, someone shared with me that it is not understood why someone would not join them in going to the store after being asked by the one she supposedly loves.  It was amazing to realize people say I love you quite freely but their actions say something different.  Why would a man you may not see for months on end leave your state and return to his not honoring a simple request of leaving his fragrance on your pillow?  How can a woman knowing her fiancée’ is heading to Iraq refuse his call prior to him leaving the country simply because she is busy doing hair?  What keeps people from being conscious of other people's feelings especially when they supposedly love you? 

This dilemma is not uncommon.  In fact it is very common.  People who would rather not be alone allow the one they love to not fulfill their needs.  Years go by and one is happy while the other is unhappy.  Many affairs result as a result of accepting less than you deserve from a relationship.  If someone tells you he or she loves you, what is it that is being loved.  If it is not your feelings and thoughts that make you who you are, then what is it that someone loves about you?

I am sure we all have been told "I love you" and found these words to make us feel special and willing to share more of ourselves with others.  But do we really understand what it really means?  Universally speaking, I am coming to learn these powerful words mean there is something in you I can incorporate into my life.   I can overlook the aspects of you I do not like.  And, I am willing to share my space with you if you are willing to share your space with me.  Is this enough for a special relationship?  You tell me.

 How did we end up so alienated from one another?  Many of us will leave this world without a true partner and soul mate, because love has become difficult to embrace.  For sure if you have ever been loved, you know when you have been shortchanged.  How can a widow or a widower ignore the reality that though someone is kind and wants to be with you that this does not mean he or she loves you?  It can't be ignored because love is something that can't be denied.  It has a power of its own that touches your heart in the presence of the one who loves you.  To accept kindness as love has costs many people grief.

 Love today is not the love I remember.  Love cares about your feelings, desires and that which makes you smile. It is a selfless sharing that allows the other person to be energized, lifted up to a state of fulfillment.  With this love, you want to do great things for mankind.  It is not something you just share in your home you go out into the world to bring light and hope to a world lacking in the beauty of love. Today, love means I will tolerate or be with this person because it makes my life easier and less lonely.  It is not about keeping the one you love strong and encouraged.

 Love has the spirit of appreciation.  You can't do enough for one another through the hard and good times.  If you have to question whether someone loves you, chances are they do not love you.  They just care enough about you to get their needs met leaving you needing more than they care to give.  This is not the best relationship you can have.  Many people live in the same house with their spouses and are very alone.  This is not love it is convenience and you are cheating yourself.  You deserve more than that.  You deserve to be adored, caressed, wanted and enjoyed by your companion.

 Sometimes, love is not enough.  Being in love with the one you love stimulates action.  Love grounds but being in love specializes the union. This brings the magic and splendor that motivates couples to be physically conscious of one another.  You just don't forget the twinkle in each others' eyes making love ageless and welcoming.  And this earthly bonding makes it easy to not desire any other.  My 89 year old friend, Mrs. Bass loved her husband and he loved her.  I still see that twinkle in their eyes when they would talk to one another.  Their love was strong and filled with much playing.  His love carried on even in his death as he made sure she would not want for anything while he was gone.  Her head was always held high and she was always at peace.  When she would mention Mr. Bass, a glow would fill the room especially when she said no one today compares to the love Bass gave me.  He just wanted me to be happy.

Being alone for many proves to be the best state to live in today because once you've been loved, you know when you have been shortchanged.  Sad to say, many have not been genuinely love to know the difference.  To you I say, be aware of your feelings.  They are crying and talking to you for a reason.  Don't fool yourself.  If you do, you will remain lost.
